Pre-market: the 8:30 headline
The first trades on the 2nd were at $2.83, already above the $2.69 close. Until 8:30 it sat between about $2.70 and $2.83 on thin volume.
At 8:30 a.m. GlobeNewsWire ran: “Cycurion Regains Compliance with Nasdaq Bid Price Requirement”. The stock moved up a little. Real volume came at 8:44 a.m., when it jumped from $2.91 to $3.00 and 69,417 shares traded in the next minute.
The pre-market high was $3.39 at 9:04 a.m. 1.81 million shares traded before the bell. At 9:13 a.m. the company filed an 8-K (a current report). The stock drifted down from there, to about $3.00 by the open.
The open and the dip
It opened at $2.98, up 11% from the previous close. The 9:33 candle fell from $2.96 to $2.76 on 98,217 shares.
The low so far was $2.65 at 9:42 a.m., 22% under the pre-market high. Then it went quiet. For the next 38 minutes it stayed between about $2.68 and $2.97, on small volume.
The breakout and the $3.98 wall

Counting pre-market, more shares had traded than exist in the whole float (3.16 million) by the end of the 10:32 minute.
Here is what a chart doesn't show. At 10:33:29 about 50,000 shares appeared for sale at $3.98, across all exchanges. That was 1.6% of the float, sitting just under $4.
Stop It's 10:34. CYCU is at $3.83. About 50,000 shares are offered at $3.98, just below $4.00. It is up from $2.87 at 10:17. Would you buy here?

What to take from it
- A wall can come down before the move, and a new one can show up at the next round number. The $3.98 wall was pulled at 10:34:49, and the stock was at $4.92 four minutes later, with $5.00 now capped by a new wall.
- After the top, the next push stopped lower. $4.95 at 10:48 a.m., then $4.30 at 11:37 a.m.
- About half of the run from the $2.65 low was gone by the close. It closed at $3.81, 23% below the $4.95 high.
Why it ran
News and SEC filings for CYCU published between the previous session's close and the first minute CYCU traded 20% above it, at 8:50 a.m. ET, newest first, from the same feeds the replay shows.
