That morning at 9:00 Business Wire carried a headline about a strategic update from the CEO. The last bar of that day was $3.65.
Pre-market: the float traded by 4:05 a.m.

From $3.93 at 4:08 a.m. it ran to $4.92 at 4:15 a.m., up 25%. After a dip to $4.49 at 4:17 it pushed again to $5.05 at 4:24 a.m., the high so far. That is 149% above the previous close.
Within two minutes it was back at $4.62, and by 4:29 a.m. at $4.37. By 5:00 a.m. it was around $4.40. At 5:05 a.m. Benzinga ran the headline “Why GlucoTrack Shares Are Trading Higher By Around 118%; Here Are 20 Stocks Moving Premarket.” The price stayed near $4.50 that minute.

What to take from it
- After the top, the next push stopped lower. $5.05 at 4:24 a.m., then $4.78 at 7:00 a.m.
- A big wall on the book can disappear in seconds, by being pulled or by being eaten. The $4.12 bid vanished at 7:54:38. The $3.20 ask was eaten in 24 seconds. Neither told you what came next.
- The offering headline and the biggest drop came in the same minute. At 8:45 the stock went from $4.11 to $2.25, and it was $2.58 at 4 p.m.

News and SEC filings for GCTK published between the previous session's close and the first minute GCTK traded 20% above it, at 4:00 a.m. ET, newest first, from the same feeds the replay shows.

How it traded
Gap, run and fade. It gapped up 19.7% to 2.43 at the open, ran from the open to the high of 3.25 in 9 minutes, then gave back 82% of that move by 4:00 p.m., trading at 2.58.
| Time (ET) | What happened | Watch it |
|---|---|---|
| 4:00 a.m. | First trade 20% above the previous close of 2.03 | |
| 4:05 a.m. | Volume since 4:00 a.m. passes the whole float, 757,086 shares | |
| 4:24 a.m. | Pre-market high, 5.05 | |
| 4:24 a.m. | High of the day to the close, 5.05 | |
| 9:30 a.m. | The open: 2.43, up 19.7% from the previous close | |
| 3:59 p.m. | Last trade before the 4:00 p.m. close, 2.58, 49.0% below the high |
The shape is a fixed rule, not a judgement: gapped 10% or more at the open, ran 10% or more from the open to the high, and faded if it gave back 30% or more of that move by the close.
