The climb to the halt
Volume woke up at 10:08. The 10:09 minute traded 6,118 shares and reached $1.44. From there it sat between $1.39 and $1.45 for about 25 minutes.

The rest of the day
In the ten minutes after the break it stayed between $2.76 and $3.10, around the old wall.

Press play: the real Level 2, time and sales and chart stop at 12:35 p.m. ET for your call, then show what happened. The clip starts at 12:32 p.m. ET.
Here's what happened. At 12:36 it pushed to $3.40. A single buy order of 103,610 shares went through 23 levels, from $3.18 to $3.40. That was a lower high, under the $3.54 top. After hours
After hours it ran from $1.93 at 4:05 p.m. to $2.94 at 5:00 p.m., up 52%. It slipped back from there and was at $2.09 by 7:59 p.m. About 4.18 million shares traded after hours.
What to take from it
- A halt can reopen far from where it stopped, in either direction. The 10:49 halt stopped at $2.13 and reopened at $2.57. The 11:21 halt stopped at $2.58 and reopened at $2.43.
- A big ask wall at a round number can fall in seconds, and the price just above it can be thin. The $3.00 wall went in 3 seconds, and a 5,000-share buy one second after it was eaten cost $162 more than the screen showed.
- After the top, the next push stopped lower. $3.54 at 11:15, then $3.40 at 12:36. It closed at $2.07, 42% below the high.
