The day, step by step

The day before and the pre-market

DSS closed September 2 at $0.55. That day it ranged from $0.47 to $0.66 on 49,207 shares. Its last bar of that evening was $0.65.

The first trade on the 3rd was at $0.60, already above the close. Pre-market was thin. It dipped to $0.5711 at 5:01 a.m. and touched $0.65 at 7:10 a.m. The pre-market high was $0.66 at 9:29 a.m. Only 45,026 shares traded before the bell, about 1% of the 3.83-million-share float.

The open and the first push

It opened at $0.60, up 9% from the previous close. At 9:37 it traded through the pre-market high, hitting $0.66.

Stop It's 9:45. DSS is at $0.91, up 65% from the $0.55 close, and it has gone from $0.66 to here in eight minutes. $1.00 is nine cents above. Would you buy here?
