The day, step by step

The day before

On August 28, AEHL traded between $2.40 and $6.70 and closed at $3.54. About 3.37 million shares changed hands.

The last bar in the data for that day was $6.54, which may have been after hours. That is well above the official close. The data shows no news headline for the stock.

Pre-market: the float traded by 4:47 a.m.

The first trades on the 31st were at $6.50, already well above the $3.54 close. The 4:00 a.m. candle ranged from $5.81 to $6.65. At 4:01 a.m. it touched $7.00.

By 4:47 a.m., more shares had traded than exist in the whole float (1.18 million).

It then drifted down as low as $5.65 at 5:23 a.m. At 6:51 a.m. it was at $5.86. Volume came back and it ran to $7.09 at 7:00 a.m. It slid again to $5.85 at 8:03 a.m.

Then came the biggest pre-market move. From $6.04 at 8:44 a.m. it ran to the pre-market high, $7.70 at 8:48 a.m. By 9:08 a.m. it had dipped to $6.45. 8.51 million shares traded before the bell.
