- Catalyst: news
- Round-number walls
- No halts
- Float traded 20x
- Run and fade
Pre-market: the float traded by 7:44 a.m.
The previous close was $2.59. The first trades on the 26th were tiny: a few dozen shares around $2.58 at 6:45 a.m., then almost nothing until 7:40.
At 7:40 a.m. GlobeNewsWire ran the headline “Cre8 Enterprise Limited Reports Record Number of Customers Served for the First Half of 2026”. That minute 18,109 shares traded. The next minute the stock hit $5.29 at 7:41 a.m., up 106% from $2.57. By 7:42 it had dipped to $4.17, and at 7:43 it touched $7.91.
By 7:44 a.m., more shares had traded than exist in the whole float (1.48 million).
After that it swung hard. It fell to $6.01 at 7:45, then ran to the pre-market high of $8.25 at 7:49. By 7:52 it was back at $6.57. Another push touched $8.24 at 7:59, and the next minute traded as low as $6.22.
At 8:02 a.m. the company filed a 6-K (a foreign company's current report). The stock hit $5.94 at 8:03. It climbed to $7.94 at 8:21 and fell to $6.12 at 8:53. About 11.86 million shares traded before the bell. There were no halts all day.

The open was $6.13, up 137% from the previous close. A single 22,171-share trade printed at $6.09 at 9:30:00. The 9:30 minute ran between $5.82 and $6.80. By 9:32 it was pressing on the wall.

From 10:15 an ask wall sat at $8.00. It peaked at 33,145 shares at 10:18:57. Meanwhile the stock climbed from $6.45 at 10:09 to $7.88 at 10:19. At 10:20:39 a 28,514-share sell order pushed it from $7.62 down to $7.46.
Stop It's 10:26. CRE is at $7.43. An ask wall has been sitting at $8.00 since 10:15. Would you buy here?
Press play: the real Level 2, time and sales and chart stop at 10:26 a.m. ET for your call, then show what happened. The clip starts at 10:23 a.m. ET.
At 10:26:20, 23,354 shares traded at exactly $8.00 and a 42,400-share buy order swept from $8.00 to $8.17. The wall was eaten at 10:26:21.
At 10:26:53 two more buy orders (36,896 and 43,039 shares) swept up from $8.13 through $8.26 to $8.60, the high of the day, up 232% from the previous close. The 10:26 minute traded 539,126 shares.
Within two minutes it was back at $7.08 (the 10:28 low). A 28,426-share sell order ran from $7.62 to $7.44 at 10:28:08.
A lower high, then the fade
It came back once more. At 10:36 it pushed to $8.20, a lower high under the $8.60 top. At 10:37:04 a 30,777-share sell order walked it from $7.79 to $7.50. At 10:48 a new $8.00 ask wall appeared. It peaked at 40,645 shares at 2:32 p.m.
A bid wall had been sitting at $6.00 since 10:09. At 10:59 the stock dropped to $6.50 in one minute. The bid wall peaked at 41,906 shares at 11:15. It was pulled at 12:32:56. At 12:38 a 28,557-share sell order swept from $6.08 to $5.99, and the afternoon's low was $5.85 at 12:40.
The afternoon was quiet, mostly between $6.00 and $6.50. At 1:29 a 25,878-share buy order lifted it from $6.29 to $6.53. A $7.68 ask wall appeared at 1:30 and was pulled at 1:35. The stock closed the regular session at $6.77.
After hours it reached $7.23 at 4:37 p.m. and traded at $6.02 in the last minute, 7:59 p.m. About 827,000 shares traded after hours.
By the close, 16.22 million shares had traded in the regular session. Counting pre-market and after hours, the day came to 28.91 million shares: the float changed hands about 19.6 times, and volume was about 764 times normal (normal is about 38,000 shares a day).
What to take from it
- Two of the ask walls at round numbers broke in under a second. The $7.00 wall was gone in 0.3 seconds, and the first $8.00 wall went the same way. A second $8.00 wall that appeared at 10:48 was never taken out. A wall is a level, not a guarantee of a ceiling.
- Buying right after a wall breaks costs more than the screen says. The book above is thin. Here 5,000 shares cost $138 and $1,242 more than the screen showed right after the two walls broke, and $147 more at the high.
- After the top, the next push stopped lower. $8.60 at 10:26, then $8.20 at 10:36. The stock closed at $6.77.
