The day, step by step

The day before

On August 24, AMIX opened at $5.69 and hit $16.40. It closed at $5.37, below where it opened.

The news came after the close. At 9:06 p.m. a press release ran with the headline: “Autonomix Medical Enters into $4.9 Million Warrant Inducement Priced at a Premium to Market Under Nasdaq Rules”. The last bar of the 24th traded at $11.63, well above the close.

Pre-market: the float traded by 4:53 a.m.

The first trades on the 25th were at $9.90, already far above the $5.37 close. The stock fell fast, to $8.00 within the first minute, down 20% from the $10.04 it touched in that minute.

From $8.32 at 4:05 it ran to $10.20 at 4:07 a.m. That was the high so far, before the market opened. The 4:07 candle closed at $8.91.

It came back once more. At 4:11 a.m. it pushed to $10.13, a lower high under the $10.20 top. After that it hovered near $9 until about 6:30 a.m. (with a push to $9.88 at 5:45), then slid to $6.81 by 8:08. It bounced to $8.56 at 8:55 and to $9.05 at 9:17, then faded to about $7.60 by the bell.
