The day before
On August 17, ENRD traded between $5.97 and $8.00, on 21,127 shares. The official close was $6.16. The last bar of that day's data was at $8.00, which may be an after-hours price rather than the close.
Pre-market: quiet, then 6:30
The first trades on the 18th came at 4:31 a.m., at $6.70, already above the $6.16 close. It touched $7.04 at 4:35 and then traded only in sporadic small lots until 5:24. The next trade was 6 shares at $6.18 at 6:29.
Then three headlines hit in the 6:30 minute: TechCrunch, “Einride strikes deal to add 500 Tesla Semis to its fleet”. GlobeNewsWire, “Einride Partners with Tesla for the World's Largest Tesla Semi Deployment”. And GlobeNewsWire again, “Einride Reports First Half 2026 Results”. Reuters followed at 6:33 with “Einride to deploy 500 Tesla electric trucks for North American fleet”.
The 6:30 candle opened at $7.40 and hit $10.50, the high so far, up 70% from $6.18. It closed that minute at $9.19. In the next minute it dropped to $7.55, and by 6:37 it touched $6.00. That is below the $6.16 close and a long way under the top.
The second push
From about $6.40 it chopped between $6.11 and $6.79 until 6:50. Then it climbed again. At 6:55 it reached $7.74. In the 6:58 minute it reached $7.66 and closed at $7.62.
Stop It's 6:59. ENRD is at $7.64. It spiked to $10.50 at 6:30, fell to $6.00 by 6:37, and has climbed back since. Would you buy here?

It kept going for one more minute. At 7:00 it reached $8.39, the best price since the 6:32 minute, but still well under $10.50. It held between about $7.60 and $8.35 until 7:17.
At 7:18 the company filed a 6-K. In that same minute the stock fell from $7.63 to $7.00 on 64,700 shares. The filing and the drop share a minute, and no more can be said from the data. After dipping to $6.80 at 7:20, it settled mostly around $7.20 to $7.50 through 7:50, with a brief push to $7.80 at 7:36.
Into the open
From 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. it traded in a narrow band, mostly $7.05 to $7.40, in small lots. At 9:03 it moved up to $7.66 on 24,570 shares. In the 9:09 minute there was a sweep: a sell order for 14,863 shares went through 11 price levels, from $7.87 down to $7.68, within 50 milliseconds.
By the bell, pre-market volume was 1.90 million shares.
Stop It's 9:30. ENRD opens at $7.70, 25% above the $6.16 close and well below the $10.50 pre-market high. Would you buy here?
Press play: the real Level 2, time and sales and chart stop at 9:30 a.m. ET for your call, then show what happened. The clip starts at 9:27 a.m. ET.
A big print came at 9:30:01: 12,917 shares at $7.70. The 9:30 candle then dropped to $7.18 and closed at $7.27. By 9:41 it had touched $6.41, and it closed that minute at $6.60.
The slide through the day
The rest of the morning was a slow drift lower with few bursts. At 10:15 it dropped to $6.38. At 10:43 it hit $6.15 on 17,619 shares. After that it spent most of the late morning around $6.40 to $6.55.
At 12:27 it fell to $5.87. The low of the day, $5.60, came at 1:28 p.m. Volume was thin in the afternoon, and prices held between about $5.65 and $6.05. The regular session ended at $5.73, below the $6.16 previous close and 45% below the $10.50 high.
The regular session (9:30 to 4:00) traded 806,899 shares. The whole day traded 2.74 million, at about 128 times normal volume. The day before had traded 21,127.
After hours
At 4:05 p.m. the company filed another 6-K (a foreign company's current report). At 4:14 p.m. the stock touched $6.29, and it traded mostly between $5.73 and $6.19 through the evening. After hours added 35,048 shares.
What to take from it
- A spike can be over in a minute. $10.50 came at 6:30 a.m. In the next minute the price was back to $7.55, and the stock touched $6.00 by 6:37.
- The second push stopped lower. After the 6:32 minute, the best price in the pre-market was $8.39 at 7:00. Neither the open nor the afternoon reached it.
- Most of the volume came before the open. 1.90 million of the day's 2.74 million shares traded pre-market, so the regular session was a much slower fade.
Why it ran
News and SEC filings for ENRD published between the previous session's close and the first minute ENRD traded 20% above it, at 6:30 a.m. ET, newest first, from the same feeds the replay shows.

The shape is a fixed rule, not a judgement: gapped 10% or more at the open, ran 10% or more from the open to the high, and faded if it gave back 30% or more of that move by the close.
The day in numbers
- From news to the move: the first trade 20% above the previous close came less than a minute after the latest news item before it (TechCrunch, 6:30 a.m.).
- Volume, from the one-minute bars: 1.90 million shares before the 9:30 a.m. open (69%), 285,635 in the first 30 minutes (10%), and 556,312 in the rest of the day to 8 p.m. (20%).
- In our recaps, this is the only day ENRD met the small-cap rule.
