The day, step by step

The day before

On August 13, AKAN opened at $5.31 and ran to a high of $11.63. It closed at $5.01, below where it opened.

The news came after the close. At 4:05 p.m. Newsfile Corp ran: “Akanda's First Towers & Fiber Increases Recurring Revenue with Completion of 200 KM Fiber Network.” The last after-hours bar of the day was at $9.49.

Pre-market: $11.42 at 4:00 a.m.

The next minute pushed to $11.00, a lower high under the top. By 4:14 it was at $9.21. At 4:24 it pushed to $10.35, still well short of $11.42.

By 4:08 a.m., more shares had traded than exist in the whole float (479,413). Shares outstanding were 480,976, so almost all of the shares were in the float.
