The day, step by step

The day before

On August 12, YXT traded between $4.52 and $6.24 and opened at $5.17. The official close was $4.53. After hours it was back up to $5.08.

Pre-market

The first trades on the 13th were at $5.43, already above the $4.53 close. The stock then slid. By 4:30 a.m. it was at $4.71, and it sat mostly between $4.60 and $4.90 for hours on thin volume.

At 7:00 a.m. GlobeNewsWire ran: “YXT.com Reports Unaudited Financial Results for the First Six Months of 2026”. A 6-K was filed at the same minute. The 7:00 minute traded 1,123 shares and closed at $4.77. Buying picked up a few minutes later.

Stop It's 7:49. YXT is at $4.99, the open of this minute. The previous close was $4.53, and the six-month results headline came out at 7:00. The stock reached $5.50 at 7:34, then fell to $4.75 at 7:43 and has stayed between $4.91 and $4.98 since. Volume in those minutes is thin: the last full minute traded 126 shares. Would you buy here?
