The day, step by step

Pre-market: a spike at 4 a.m., a second one at 9:07

The first trades on the 5th were near $3.81, already above the $3.18 close. It hit $5.05 at 4:02 a.m. By 4:21 a.m., more shares had traded than exist in the whole float (1.05 million).

Then it went quiet. From 5:05 a.m. to 8 a.m. it sat between $3.85 and $4.20 on thin volume. At 8:01 a.m. one print went as low as $3.70, the low so far. That minute still closed at $4.10.

At 9:07 a.m. it woke up. In one minute it went from $4.69 to $6.29 on 462,363 shares. Our news data shows no headline at that time. It reached $7.73 at 9:13 a.m., dipped to $6.06 at 9:24 a.m., and made the pre-market high of $8.06 at 9:29 a.m. 8.86 million shares traded before the bell, about 8.5 times the float.
