The day, step by step

The day before

On July 31, FCUV ran from $1.95 to $18.79. It closed at $11.50.

After hours it was back up to $17.10. So the stock came into the 3rd already well above that close.

Pre-market: the high came in the first minute

The first trades on the 3rd were at $18.70, already above the $11.50 close. In the very first minute, 4:00 a.m., it hit $21.00, the high so far. That candle traded 80,348 shares.

It did not hold. It fell to $16.54 at 4:08 a.m., down 21% from the top.

It slid to around $15 by 4:56, then climbed back to about $17 by 6:00. At 7:00 a.m. it started to run again. At 7:09 a.m. it pushed to $20.50, a lower high under the $21.00 top. That minute traded 124,649 shares.

Later, a bid wall of 21,215 shares (3.5% of the float) sat at $18.50. It was first seen at 7:17:22 and pulled at 7:19:28.

Then came a flush. From 7:57 to 7:59 a.m. the stock fell from about $17.30 to a low of $13.71. By 8:00 it was back at $15.69. By 9:29 it was $15.47. About 2.95 million shares traded before the bell.
