The open and the first halt
It opened at $1.27, down 7% from the previous close. That was the low so far. The 9:30 minute traded 16,654 shares, including a 15,300-share print at $1.27. By 9:33 it was back to $1.40.

What to take from it
- A halt can reopen either way. The 10:24 halt stopped at $1.95 and reopened at $2.41. The 10:52 halt stopped near $2.53 and reopened at $2.42.
- The first seconds after a reopen cost more than the screen showed. The book was thin: 500, 29, 50 and 573 shares at the screen price in the reopen fills above.
- After the top, the next push stopped lower. $3.64 at 12:03, then $3.17 at 12:11. A large bid is a level, not a floor: the $2.00 bid held for about two hours and was gone in a second.
