What to take from it
- A quiet stock can change in one minute. VCIG traded between $0.88 and $1.06 for six hours, then went from $0.955 to $1.23 in the 3:45 p.m. minute.
- An ask wall that gets eaten fast can still leave the price close to the screen. Here a 5,000-share buy one second after the break cost $3 over the screen. Near $1.44 the same size cost $22.
- After hours can undo the day. It traded at $2.10 at 4:28 p.m. and at $0.89 by 6:32 p.m.
