At 8:00 a.m. GlobeNewsWire ran: “Namib Minerals Reports First-Half 2026 Financial Results and Provides Business Update.” The stock was at $1.05.
The move came almost an hour later. At 8:53 it was $1.08. By 8:55 it was $1.15. At 8:58 a.m. it hit $1.25, the pre-market high, on 353,889 shares in that one minute.

The 1:26 minute reached $1.41. It did not run away. It held $1.34 to $1.42 for the next half hour.
Two more walls
At 1:58 a buy order took 28,113 shares from $1.40 to $1.42, and the stock touched $1.44. At 1:59 a new ask wall appeared, at $1.52. It peaked at 94,770 shares at 2:23. At 2:28 it was pulled. Nobody had eaten it.

The drop
Then it broke. At 2:42:21, three sell orders hit in the same second: about 120,000 shares in all, from $1.54 down to $1.41. The 2:42 minute closed at $1.34 on 343,518 shares.

The rest of the day

By the close, 5.58 million shares had traded, about 42% of the 13.37 million float, at about 35 times its normal volume. After hours added 354,209 shares and the stock reached $1.37 at 7:50 p.m.
What to take from it
- A big ask wall can break without the price jumping. The $1.38 wall and the $1.48 wall both went in seconds, and a 5,000-share buy right after cost the screen price each time. The book above them was deep enough.
- A pre-market spike can fully reverse before the open. NAMM hit $1.25 at 8:58 a.m. and was at $0.93 four minutes later.
- After the top, the next push stopped lower. $1.55 at 2:40 p.m., then about $1.35 at 2:48 p.m.
