What to take from it
- A big ask wall can break fast, and the fill after it can cost more than the screen. The $3.54 wall was eaten in 9.1 seconds, and a 5,000-share buy right after averaged $136 over the screen.
- After the top, the next push stopped lower. $4.38 at 9:31 a.m., then $3.79 at 9:50 a.m.
- The float traded over before the open, and the gap was gone by the close. By 7:50 a.m. more shares had traded than the float holds. The stock closed at $2.79, 36% below the $4.38 high.
