Pre-market: almost nothing
The previous close was $1.95. The pre-market high was $1.95 at 4:07 a.m. Only 491 shares traded before the bell. The float is 1.22 million shares, so this was a very quiet stock going into the open.
The headline and the first halt
It opened at $2.00 at 9:30. At 9:30 GlobeNewsWire ran this headline: “Decent Holding's SunCare Launches AI-Powered In-Home Senior Care Service Through Strategic Collaboration with Ruilan International”. In the 9:32 minute it reached $2.25 on about 1,000 shares.
At 9:33:41 it was halted (a volatility pause). The last trade was $2.56, up from $2.20 at the close of the 9:32 minute. The halt lasted 32 minutes.
The 10:06 reopen
A chart can mislead at a reopen: a single candle hides how thin the book is in the first seconds.
Stop It's 10:06. DXST was halted at 9:33 with a last trade of $2.56 and is about to reopen. The previous close was $1.95. Would you buy the reopen?

Shakeout, then the second halt
The drop started right away. The 10:09 candle hit $3.00, down from $4.16 three minutes earlier. By 10:10, more shares had traded than exist in the whole float (1.22 million).
At 10:12 it touched $2.91. Then it turned. The 10:14 minute went from $3.32 to $3.95 on 450,713 shares, and at 10:15 it reached $4.11.
A big bid showed up at exactly $4.11 at 10:15:15. It peaked at 102,522 shares at 10:15:23, about 8.4% of the float. At 10:15:27 the stock was halted again with the last trade at $4.11. The bid stayed on the book until 10:39:09.

The second reopen and the top at $5.69
It reopened at 10:34:05 at $4.91, 19% above where it stopped. A 129,797-share print went through at $4.93. One buy order swept 42,022 shares from $4.95 to $5.68 across 56 price levels.
The high so far, $5.69, came in that same 10:34 minute. Within two minutes it was back at $4.30, with the 10:36 candle at its low.
The $4.64 bid was gone at 10:36:07. A sell order ran from $4.66 to $4.52 across 15 levels. The $4.24 bid was pulled at 10:36:13.
It came back once more. At 10:41 it pushed to $5.57, a lower high under $5.69. After that it kept sliding: $4.25 at 10:47, $3.76 at 10:50, and $3.51 at 10:58. At 10:50:40 a 10,000-share print at $4.12 came with a sell order that ran from $4.12 to $3.90.
The bid at $3.00
From 11:08:30 on, someone was bidding for stock at exactly $3.00. It grew to 39,329 shares at 11:31, about 3% of the float. From 11:08 to 11:52 the stock traded between $3.04 and $3.71.
Stop It's 11:53. DXST is at $3.06, down from $5.69 at 10:34. A bid has sat at $3.00 since 11:08, up to 39,329 shares at its biggest. Would you buy here?
Press play: the real Level 2, time and sales and chart stop at 11:53 a.m. ET for your call, then show what happened. The clip starts at 11:50 a.m. ET.
Starting at 11:54:05, sellers hit the $3.00 bid. In 1.6 seconds, 31,854 shares traded at exactly $3.00 and the bid was gone. It wasn't pulled. Sellers hit it. The 11:54 candle low was $2.82, and 148,187 shares traded in that minute.
Drifting lower, one more bounce
The pre-market low was $1.76 at 8:29 a.m., but the lowest regular-hours price after the reopen was $2.63 at 12:31. At 12:09:32 a 17,306-share print at $2.82 came with another sell order that ran from $2.82 to $2.78.
At 12:47 it started up again, from $2.85 to $3.39 at 1:10 p.m. An offer appeared at $3.50 at 1:09 p.m. and grew to 40,568 shares by 1:12 p.m. The price never reached $3.50 for the rest of the regular session. From there it chopped quietly around $3.00 and closed at $3.03, 47% under the $5.69 high.
By the close, 14.6 million shares had traded: the float changed hands about 12 times. Relative volume was about 1,011.
After hours
Right after the bell it bounced to $3.46 at 4:06 p.m. Then it faded to $3.08 at 6:20 p.m. and dropped to $2.60 by 6:36 p.m. In the 7:59 p.m. minute it traded as low as $2.36, down 32% from the after-hours high.
What to take from it
- Halt reopens are the thinnest moments. At the 10:06 reopen, only 58 shares were on screen and a 5,000-share market buy cost $711 more than the screen price.
- A bid is a level, not a floor. The $3.00 bid held for about 45 minutes, then broke in 1.6 seconds.
- After the top, the next push stopped lower. $5.69 at 10:34, then $5.57 at 10:41. The price ended the day at $3.03.
