What to take from it
- The top came hours before the open. $1.36 hit at 5:22 a.m., 4 hours before the open. The open was $1.04 and the regular session high was $1.15.
- A big bid wall can hold for over an hour and still break in a second. The $1.00 wall stood from 5:16 to 6:34 a.m. Then a 57,998-share sell went through it in under a second.
- Whether a buy slips depends on how deep the book is at that second. In the minute of the $1.36 high, 5,727 shares were offered at $1.31 and a 5,000-share buy filled at the screen price.
