The open and a quiet morning
It opened at $1.98, up about 0.5% from the previous close. For the next two hours almost nothing happened. Many minutes had no trades at all. It drifted down to $1.94 at 10:25, the low since the open, and sat near $1.97 until late morning.
The wall at $3.20
At 11:28 a.m. it cleared the pre-market high of $2.00. Volume in that one minute was 12,142 shares, more than the whole pre-market.
From about $2.05 at 11:30 it ran to $2.99 at 11:37, up 46%. Then it fell to $2.33 at 11:38, down 22% from the high. By 11:53 more shares had traded than exist in the whole float (2.34 million).
The order book showed something the chart did not. From 11:52 on, someone was offering a lot of stock at exactly $3.20. By 11:54 it was still sitting there.

Stop It's 12:22. TDIC has been halted for ten minutes. It last traded at $3.17. Would you buy the reopen?
Press play: the real Level 2, time and sales and chart stop at 12:22 p.m. ET for your call, then show what happened. The clip starts at 12:19 p.m. ET.
It reopened at 12:22 at $3.60, 14% above where it stopped. The opening print was one trade of 142,059 shares. The high of the day, $4.00, came in that same minute. That minute closed at $3.51.
Another wall showed up right away: 48,100 shares offered at $4.63 by 12:22:16. It was pulled at 12:24:14. At 12:25 the stock pushed to $3.80, a lower high under $4.00.
The rest of the day
From there it faded: $3.04 at 12:27, $2.82 at 12:39, and $2.50 at 1:17 p.m. It lifted again late, to $3.69 at 3:41, and the last regular-session minute (3:59) closed at $3.15.
For the regular session, 12.76 million shares traded: the float changed hands about 5.5 times, at over 1,000 times its normal volume.
After hours it rose to $3.99 at 5:19 p.m. Then it fell, with a sharp drop from $3.43 to $2.81 around 5:37 to 5:38, and it was at $2.71 by 7:59 p.m., down 32% from the after-hours high.
What to take from it
- A big ask wall can break in a second or two. When it does, the price above can be thin, and a market buy costs more than the screen says.
- A halt can reopen higher than it stopped. The 12:12 halt stopped at $3.17 and reopened at $3.60. The top came in the first minute.
- After the top, the next push stopped lower. $4.00 at 12:22, then $3.80 at 12:25. The stock was back to $2.50 by 1:17 p.m.
