Pre-market and the open: nothing happening
The previous close was $0.84. The pre-market high was $0.84 at 4:00 a.m., and it drifted down to $0.80 by 5:08. 14,680 shares traded before the bell.
The one headline on file came the day before. At 9:00 a.m. on September 17, the company said it mined 15.63 Bitcoin in August. Nothing new came out on the 18th.
It opened at $0.80, about 5% below the previous close. The 9:51 minute traded 15,309 shares as it slid, and the low so far was $0.77 at 9:59. After that it sat between about $0.77 and $0.80 for hours.
One thing the chart doesn't show. From 4:00 a.m. on, about 36,900 shares were offered at $0.9499, which was the previous day's high. That offer stayed on the book until 2:47 p.m.
2:37 p.m.: the quiet breaks
Around 2:24 the stock began to creep up from $0.81. At 2:37 it printed $0.86. The 2:45 minute went to $0.94 on 18,192 shares, and the 2:52 minute traded 46,428 shares at $0.90. The wall at $0.9499 disappeared at 2:47:26.
At 2:59 p.m. a new offer showed up at $0.94. At 3:01 it moved to $0.9399, a hundredth of a cent lower, and grew from there. It peaked at 37,131 shares at 3:08 p.m., about 2.6% of the 1.42 million-share float. The stock sat just below it.
Stop It's 3:13 p.m. OLOX is at $0.92. About 37,000 shares have been offered at $0.9399, just above, since 3:01. The stock has been pressing under that level for several minutes. Would you buy here?

Through $1.00 and the $1.20 wall
The 3:14 minute closed at $0.98 on 56,744 shares. At 3:18 it traded through $1.00 for the first time today, with a high of $1.05. At 3:23 it hit $1.11, up 44% from the $0.77 low at 9:59 a.m. The same minute dipped to $0.98 and closed at $1.00.
At 3:25 one buy order swept 11 price levels, $1.04 to $1.14, for 47,145 shares. That minute traded 130,786 shares.
A second wall had been building since 3:21: an offer at $1.20 that grew to about 36,200 shares by 3:34. Below the price, a bid wall of about 31,800 shares sat at $1.10 from 3:32.
Stop It's 3:36 p.m. OLOX is at $1.16. About 36,000 shares are offered at $1.20, and about 32,000 shares are bid at $1.10 below. Would you buy here?
Press play: the real Level 2, time and sales and chart stop at 3:36 p.m. ET for your call, then show what happened. The clip starts at 3:33 p.m. ET.
At 3:36:38 shares began trading at $1.20. Over about 14 seconds, 33,703 shares traded at exactly $1.20, and the wall was eaten at 3:36:53. The 3:36 minute traded 132,131 shares. By the end of the 3:39 minute, more shares had traded than exist in the whole float (1.42 million).
$1.29, then a drop to $0.92
A new offer appeared at $1.35 at 3:37 and grew to about 41,000 shares. From $1.10 at 3:33 the stock ran to $1.29 at 3:41, the high of the regular session, and never reached $1.35 before the bell. The 3:41 minute traded 166,445 shares.
Then it turned. The 3:43 minute closed at $1.16. At 3:44 p.m. it dropped to $0.92, on 306,592 shares. In that minute, at 3:44:07, a 48,488-share sell order went through ten levels, $1.16 to $1.07. The $1.10 bid wall was gone a second later, after 6,015 shares traded there. That was a 29% drop from the high in three minutes.
The rest of the day
It bounced once more. At 3:46 p.m. it pushed to $1.17, a lower high under $1.29. It slipped to $1.05 by 3:48, and touched $0.97 at 3:53.
It closed at $1.04, 19% below the $1.29 high. Regular-session volume was 3.09 million shares, so the float changed hands about 2 times.
After hours: $1.68, then $0.88
The 4:00 p.m. minute opened at $1.04 and closed at $1.16. By 4:01 it had reached $1.46 on 437,266 shares. There was no new headline.
The extended-hours high was $1.68 at 4:48 p.m., a single spike on a minute that also touched $1.30. It faded from there. At 5:54 it dropped from $1.26 to $1.21, and it fell to $0.88 by 7:53 p.m., down 48% from the spike.
After hours traded 10.8 million shares, more than seven times the float and over three times the whole regular session.
What to take from it
- A wall can be a level, not a ceiling. Two of the ask walls here, at $0.9399 and $1.20, were eaten by buyers, one in under a second and one in about 14 seconds, and the price kept moving.
- The book is thin right after a wall breaks. A 5,000-share buy cost $90 more than the screen at $0.94 and $40 more at $1.20.
- After the top, the next push stopped lower, and the drop was fast. $1.29 at 3:41, then $1.17 at 3:46. In between, $0.92 at 3:44. After hours then ran to $1.68 and ended near $0.90.
