What to take from it
- A halt can reopen far from where it stopped. The 11:25 a.m. halt stopped at $2.03 and reopened at $1.64.
- The cost of a market buy at a reopen depends on the book. On 5,000 shares, the 9:42 reopen cost $0 over the screen with 29,662 shares offered. The 11:05 reopen cost $235 with 1,019 offered.
- Most of the move was gone by the close. DTSS closed at $1.22, 47% below the $2.29 high.
