10:15: the headline and the first run
At 10:15 a.m. GlobeNewsWire ran: “Green Circle Decarbonize Technology Limited Entering into Strategic Partnership Agreement for Mass Production of BocaPCM-TES Panels in the People's Republic of China”. The first trade in that minute was $0.38, above the pre-market high. By 10:19 it had reached $0.52.
At 10:20 a.m. the company filed a 6-K (a foreign company's current report). The stock fell to $0.38 at 10:22, down 28% from the $0.52 high three minutes earlier.
Then it turned. From $0.40 at 10:23 it ran to $0.63 at 10:31, up 60%. The 10:31 minute alone traded 1.8 million shares. By 10:32, more shares had traded than exist in the whole float (7.19 million). It then slid to $0.43 at 10:44, down 32% from the top of that run.
