After hours: the headline and the run
At 4:05 p.m., just after the close, GlobeNewsWire ran: “Wearable Devices Announces First Half 2026 Financial Results and Provides Corporate Update”.
The stock stayed quiet for a few minutes. It was $2.34 at 4:12 and $2.24 at its 4:16 low. At 4:22 it reached $2.64. By 4:25 it had reached $2.99 on 45,976 shares in one minute.

The slide and the 6-K
After $3.89 it fell back fast. It was at $3.12 by 5:07 p.m. and it bounced to $3.53 at 5:14 and $3.50 at 5:17.

After hours, 5,003,620 shares traded. That is about four times the float. The whole day came to 5,052,544 shares, at about 6.6 times normal volume.
What to take from it
- The regular session had no sign of what came next. It traded 47,893 shares and ended near the low. Almost all of the day's volume came after 4:00 p.m.
- Thin books make small orders expensive. At 8:05 a.m. only 250 shares sat at the screen price, and a 5,000-share buy would have averaged $2.98.
- After-hours moves can reverse fast. The stock went from $3.89 at 5:05 p.m. to $2.51 by 5:28.
