The afternoon slide
It recovered to $3.04 by 2:32 p.m. From 2:47 to 2:50, four prints of 39,749 to 44,824 shares each hit the bid, between $2.85 and $2.81. Buy sweeps of 48,293 and 54,590 shares went through at 2:47 and 2:48 in the same stretch. The price stayed near $2.80.

After hours
It kept falling after 4 p.m. to $1.00 at 4:11 p.m. Then it ran to $2.55 by 4:48 p.m., up 155%. The 4:47 minute alone traded 162,629 shares.

What to take from it
- A bid wall is a level, not a floor. The $3.50 bid took about nine seconds to break and the $2.70 bid took 8.3. Each time, sellers hit it.
- A halt can reopen lower than it stopped, and the book is thin at the reopen. The first halt stopped at $3.91 and reopened at $3.37. A 5,000-share buy at the second reopen cost $332 more than the screen.
- After the top, the next push stopped lower. $4.68 at 10:21 a.m., then $3.79 at 10:44 a.m. The close was $1.83.
