What to take from it
- A halt can reopen lower than it stopped. The 10:59 a.m. halt stopped at $2.99 and reopened at $2.60.
- After the top, the next push stopped lower. $3.15 at 10:59 a.m., then $2.11 at 11:32 a.m.
- Reopens are decision points, and fills can differ from the screen. At 10:59:28 a 5,000-share buy averaged $1,507 more than the screen showed; one second later, at 10:59:29, the same order would have filled at the $2.99 on screen. The close was about 59% below the high.
