What to take from it
- A big ask wall can disappear in under a second. Here, 28,054 shares traded at $2.98 in 0.7 seconds, and the price ran to $3.59 the next minute.
- Market orders cost more than the screen shows right after a wall breaks or a halt reopens. In those seconds here, the book was thin: +$152 and +$265 on 5,000 shares.
- After the top, the next push stopped lower. $3.59 at 9:53, then $2.91 at 10:04.
