Press play: the real Level 2, time and sales and chart stop at 3:44 p.m. ET for your call, then show what happened. The clip starts at 3:41 p.m. ET.

The close and after hours
It came back once more. At 3:53 p.m. it pushed to $20.88, a lower high under the $24.66 top. It closed the regular session at $19.50, up 434% on the day.
In the 9:30 to 4:00 session, 40.7 million shares traded: the float changed hands about 43 times. Counting pre-market and after hours, the day's total was 53.2 million, and the volume was 22 times normal. It was halted 11 times.
After hours it hit $21.70 at 4:41 p.m. Then it fell, with a sharp drop at 5:19 p.m., to $13.56 by 5:50 p.m., down 38% from the after-hours high.
What to take from it
- On this day, both big ask walls were taken out. The $7.00 and $10.00 walls each went in about a second, and the stock kept going after both.
- In the three fills shown here, buying right after a wall break or halt reopen cost more than the screen said. Five thousand shares cost $645 to $1,918 over the screen, because few shares were offered at the screen price. Not every reopen was like that: at 9:36:31 the same order cost nothing extra.
- After the top, the next push stopped lower, and the after-hours high stopped lower too. $24.66 at 3:44 p.m., $20.88 at 3:53 p.m., $21.70 at 4:41 p.m., then $13.56 by 5:50 p.m.
